Ganoderma Cultivation

Ganoderma Cultivation

Driven by his interest in orchid cultivation and the medicinal properties of various herbs, Mr. Leow Soon Seng began research on different species of mushrooms in Malaysia in 1983. After conducting numerous tests and experiments, he discovered that Ganoderma lucidum had the highest therapeutic value compared to other types of mushrooms. Additionally, he found that Malaysia's temperature (28˚C - 32˚C) and humidity levels were highly favorable for Ganoderma cultivation.

Today, Gano Excel owns the world's largest 100% organic Ganoderma farm, located in the Kedah region of Malaysia. A suitable environment is essential for cultivating high-quality Ganoderma, which is what sets Gano Excel's Ganoderma apart from the rest. Our farms and greenhouses are equipped with sophisticated and modern cultivation technologies, with significant investments made to ensure the consistent and superior quality production of Ganoderma lucidum.

At Gano Excel, we adopt tissue culture and a 100% organic farming method for Ganoderma cultivation. The cultivation medium consists of rice husks, brown rice flour, and rubber tree scraps. No chemicals, pesticides, or hormones are used in the cultivation process. Natural environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, and exposure to sunlight are carefully monitored and controlled to ensure optimal growth while maintaining its therapeutic properties. Ganoderma takes approximately 3 months to mature before it is harvested under strict supervision.
